I wanted to incorporate a different exercise in between the days I don’t run. Since I like dancing, thought I would try Zumba. You know, the one that blends Latin dancing (think Salsa) and aerobics….it looks so easy on the commercials. So when the heck did I become uncoordinated?
The workout is more difficult than expected, but the time doing it flies by and is fun to do. It doesn’t matter if you’re not a good dancer. Just feel the music and move with it.
This brings back great memories when we used to dance at the clubs (back in the day…) and when I was part of a dance troupe. Yes, I was part of a dance troupe that did modern dance performances. After my first child was born, I stopped dancing and haven’t been back to the studio since.
I’m positive my coordination will come back and loosen those hips up. Will keep trying! Zumba, yah –
