For what it’s worth, live it to the max. Each day is precious and try not to worry about what you have no control over.
A friend of mine shared with me today that his brother was recently diagnosed with ALS/Lou Gehrig’s Disease. I could hear the pain in his voice describing how his brother can’t move on his own anymore. He has to deal with something I hope to never have to.
My view on life changed a lot after the brain tumor. I thank God every day that I’m here to see my sons grow up and can watch more sunsets with my husband. Work definitely was not that critical focus anymore.
We are all connected in some way and no one is better than anyone else. Some people just seem luckier. My credo to balance out:
– Treat others fairly
– Listen more
– Take long walks
– Watch the sunset
– Try different foods
– Follow your heart
