Taking Things for Granted

The end of the year holidays are officially here! It’s the time for celebrating with family and friends. Be thankful they are still here and available…value those relationships.

The end of the year is also a time for reflection. How did things go this past year? Did you meet all (or any) of the goals you set for 2015?

It’s so easy to forget how good we have it sometimes. We shouldn’t wait for something ‘bad’ to happen to realize that. I’m definitely grateful to still be here. The health issues I’ve dealt with reminds me to keep things in perspective each day.

We are all dealing with something. It will only define you and defeat you…if you let it. Let it strengthen you instead.

There is so much to do and experience, including giving back in some way.  Remember to pause and take a moment to appreciate all the beautiful things you take for granted each day.
